Chinese military appreciates Pakistan’s consensus against terrorism


China’s Central Military Commission Vice Chairman General Fan Changlong praised Pakistan’s consensus against terrorism during his meeting with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Rahaeel Sharif in China on Sunday.

General Raheel is on a two-day official visit on the invitation of Chinese officials to meet the political and military leadership.

As per Director General Inter Services Public Relations (DG-ISPR) Major General Asim Bajwa tweets, the Chinese military leadership assured their country’s full support in Pakistan’s fight against militants.

The military leaders further appreciated Pakistan’s resolve, efforts and sacrifices rendered in fighting the menace. Speaking about Operation Zarb-e-Azb, Changlong also termed it as decisive, bold and hard blow for terrorists. He added China and Pakistan were the most important neighbours and iron brothers having solid relations.
