Seven terror suspects, including TTP commander, arrested in Harnai, Hangu, Lahore

Law enforcement agencies on Saturday arrested at least seven suspected militants, including a Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) commander in Hangu, Harnai and Lahore. The TTP commander was arrested from Harnai.

According to security sources, intelligence agents conducted a raid in Harnai district of Balochistan and arrested the three suspected militants. Security forces also recovered arms and ammunition from their possession.

Meanwhile, the security forces raided a house located in Bagatoo area of district Hangu and arrested four suspected terrorists of banned TTP.

Heavy weapons including eight hand grenades, four Kalashnikovs, two remote controlled bomb, eight detonators, two batteries and hundreds of bullets were recovered from possession of arrested militants. The suspects were shifted to undisclosed place for interrogation.

In Lahore, police arrested two suspected persons who issued mobile SIMs that were used in the Peshawar APS attack.
