Jamaatud Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed has said that ban on his party will make no difference as “it will continue serving the humanity on the same pattern”.

While addressing a protest rally against blasphemous caricatures of Prophet (PBUH) in Lahore after Jumma prayers, Saeed announced forming a new group Tehreek-i-Hurmat-e-Rasool. He said the Muslims will not remain silent over the blasphemous sketches and will launch a global movement against it.

Commenting over the imposing ban on JuD, Saeed said that it makes no difference as only his pension account has been ceased. He said the matter of the ban on JuD is four-year old and the foreign ministry spokesperson has only repeated it.

JuD is not a sectarian group but working for the unity of Muslims and serving the humanity, he added and claimed that no act of terrorism could be proved against the group.
