Students from the Government Islamia School were conducting a protest when police attacked them on Thursday.
According to details, the young students were demonstrating at Bhatti Chowk. Even though the situation was not out of control, the police tried to gain control by baton charging the students for protesting.
Some students were slightly injured. The Chief Minister (CM) has taken notice of the incident and ordered an investigation into the matter. He has ordered Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Wing to submit a report on the incident. Moreover, the CM directed concerned authorities to identify the people behind the incident.
