ANF commander orders crackdown against sale of drug-blended toffees in Pindi schools
The force commander of Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) Rawalpindi has taken notice of the reports on sale of drug-blended toffees and candies in the schools of Rawalpindi city and ordered immediate crackdown against the mafia involved in this trade.
The ANF personnel have taken some persons into custody for investigation in this regard. The ANF commander had received some complaints of sale of drugged toffees in the educational institutions following the arrest of two major gangs of drug peddlers engaged in selling drugs in major colleges and universities in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
The ANF sources said that stern monitoring has been started in respect of food items being supplied to schools.
