Supreme Court of Pakistan Tuesday dismissed a contempt of court petition filed against Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
According to details, a contempt of court application against the Punjab CM was filed by Lt Col (r) Tariq Kamaal and heard by two-member bench presided over by Justice Saqib Nisar.
During the hearing, the petitioner argued that the Punjab government assured the court to build dam whereas no implementation has been observed over this decision until now.
The court remarked that it was a matter of the provincial government and rebuffed filing a case, saying that the claimant was not affected by the case.
