Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon said Wednesday that MQM’s criticism on the Sindh government was beyond his understating.

Talking to media on Wednesday, Memon said the MQM would raise serious objections if the Sindh government called out army to maintain law and order in Karachi.

“The MQM is part of the government since last 25 years and its criticism is beyond understanding,” he told media.

The minister said the PPP was not afraid of anything but those who were involved in crimes were really afraid of punishment. “The MQM appreciates when it is part of the provincial government,” he added.

Earlier this morning, MQM leader Khwaja Izhar-ul-Hassan criticised Sindh government saying it has badly failed in providing relief to the people of the province.

“The Sindh government must take effective steps to stop violence in Karachi as the city has turned out to be a safe and favourite place for terrorists and killers”, the MQM leader added.
