- IHC seeks replies on non provision of security to former chairman senate Wasim Sajjad
As a single bench of Islamabad High Court (IHC) comprising Justice Noorul Haq Qureshi took up the case for hearing Tuesday, and has summoned reply from the parties concerned within three days in the case of non-provision of security to former Senate chairman Wasim Sajjad.
Sajjad had approached the court in the matter of not providing of security by federal government to him as former chairman Senate.
Counsel for petitioner told the court separate rules are in place for security of federal ministers and former chairman senate. Security has not been provided by government to his client as former chairman senate.
The court while seeking replies from the concerned parties adjourned the hearing of the case for three days.
