The Supreme Court (SC) has adjourned the hearing of Police Foundation plots case till February, remarking that no more adjournment will be given on the next hearing.
A three-member bench of SC presided over by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Nasirul Mulk took up the case for hearing on Monday.
The court also heard the review petition filed by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Anjum Aqeel and senior police officers.
Aqeel told the court that his counsel Makhdoom Ali Khan had filed a petition requesting the court that he was engaged in important cases in Karachi therefore, the hearing of the case be adjourned.
The CJP adjourned the case but added that no adjournment will be given next time. The court has heard a major part of the case and will give the decision after hearing the remaining part of the case, said the judge.
