A meeting between Finance Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jehangir Khan Tarin is expected to take place today (Monday) to develop a consensus on the issue of formation of a judicial commission to probe the alleged rigging and irregularities in the general elections held in 2013.
Tarin had written a letter to the finance minister asking the government to respond to PTI’s questions over the proposed judicial commission to inquire poll rigging.
Sources said that Dar has responded to Tarin’s letter via an email and told the PTI leader that he would meet him as soon after he returns to Pakistan, most likely on Monday.
Tarin confirmed that the meeting was likely to take place on Monday to discuss issues relating to the formation of the judicial commission.
