A special anti-polio campaign began in Peshawar on Sunday. Over 750,000 children of up to five years of age will be administered anti polio drops during the campaign.
Over 4,300 mobile teams have been constituted who will go door to door to administer anti polio drops to children.
Tight security arrangements have been made for the polio teams.
Under section 144, motorcycle riding has been banned in the Peshawar district for one day.
On the other hand, a three day anti polio campaign in different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will begin today.
