ISLAMABAD-

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday urged the leaders of Islamic world to raise the issue of blasphemous caricatures of Holy Prophet (PBUH) with western counterparts, a private news channel reported.

Condemning the blasphemous caricatures, Khan said “I have already issued a strong statement against the sacrilegious cartoons.”

Addressing a press conference at Bani Gala in Islamabad, PTI chairman said that the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) should take up this issue with the West.

Narrating his own incident, he said that once  he didn’t participate in a conference in India due to presence of Salman Rushdie.

“Can anybody question the holocaust in the West? Isn’t it freedom of expression,” he questioned.

Demanding the formation of judicial commission to inquire into last parliamentary elections, he said that the disappearance of form 14 and form 15 from polling bags should also be investigated.

The PTI chief also said that a remarkable change can be seen in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to the policies of his government.

“All of us are jointly responsible for the terrorist attacks. But Army Public School was specifically under army control,” he said.

Earlier, senior politicians belonging to Pakistan Muslim League- Quaid (PML-Q) Riaz Fatyana and Saeed Virk, announced their decision to join PTI.
