Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan was trying to fool people on the issue of alleged rigging by levelling “baseless” allegations.

Talking to journalists outside the Parliament House on Wednesday, the minister said that he had offered Khan to identify the word “bogus” in the audit report of NA-122 constituency and conduct forensic test of the ballot papers which he claimed had been printed by private printing presses.

The minister said Khan did not respond to any of the two offers, “which implied that he is doing the politics of lies”.

Rashid said that due to a negative approach in politics, Khan had to face “Go Imran Go” slogans when he arrived to visit Army Public School in Peshawar. He said the PTI chief was creating hurdles in the way of implementing the national agenda of eliminating terrorism.
