PCB should take dope test

Our bowling line-up, it seems, always runs into some kind of trouble whenever the World Cup is around the corner. In 2007, Shoaib Akhtar and Muhammad Asif were out for failing to clear the dope test. In 2011, Muhammad Amir and Muhammad Asif were mired in the spot fixing controversy. And now in 2015, Saeed Ajmal and Muhammad Hafeez got suspension orders for their illegal bowling actions.

When will the PCB wake up to have a backup of players? It should get all its players to take the dope test to make sure that no player will face the spectre of the World Cup ban. This will also save us from the mandatory two years ban in case the ICC discovers it later.

  1. Have you seen the line up, there is beeline of very fine bowlers ready to fill in. Yasir Shah has stepped in . He is an excellent spinner and will shine in the world cup. Taking the dope test is not a problem.

Saeed Ajmal and Hafeez got suspended due to their flawed bowling action on technical ground. Both these spinners are working on the correction of their action. Hopefully they will return sooner. Do not give up hope ?

PCB selectors have a done a good job to make the final selection of the fifteen member Squad for the 2015 World Cup. We should keep an eye on winning and lifting the CUP.
