ISLAMABAD-
National Assembly of Pakistan on Thursday passed a resolution condemning the latest edition of recently-attacked French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, private media reported.
Few days earlier, the office of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo came under attack when two Kalashnikov-wielding men burst into and opened bullets at the staff members for printing blasphemous cartoons of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
However, defying the attackers, the magazine published a blasphemous cartoon on its cover on Wednesday.
The latest move of French satirical magazine had provoked Muslims’ sentiments in different parts of the world.
Today, Pakistani Railway minister Khawaja Saad Rafique presented the resolution condemning the latest edition of by French magazine containing blasphemous content.
The resolution was unanimously approved by the Parliament.
And Pakistanis accuse the west of double standards?…
