SC admits NAB plea again Zardari in Steel Mills case

The Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday accepted the petition of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) regarding the hearing of Steel Mills corruption case against former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari.

The plea was accepted for initial hearing by a three-member bench of apex court headed by Justice Aijaz Chaudhary.

NAB prosecutor stated that Zardari has been charged for seizing Rs 40 million from the Steel Mills chairman.

After hearing the prosecutor’s statement, the court issued notices to both parties and adjourned the hearing for an indefinite period.
