KARACHI-
Seven death row prisoners were executed Tuesday in different jails across country, local media reported.
Murder convict Bahram Khan was hanged in Karachi for killing Advocate Mohammad Ashraf in a courtroom of the Sindh High Court in April 2003.
In Sukkur, three convicted terrorists Shahid Haneef, Talha and Khalil, from a banned outfit, were executed. They were convicted for killing Syed Zaffar Ali Shah; a director in Defence ministry, in July 2001.
Two convicts of Musharraf attack case of 2003, Mushtaq Ahmed and Nawaz Ali, were hanged at the gallows in Faisalabad’s District Jail.
Another convict in the case, former Pakistan Air Force (PAF) chief technician Khalid Mehmood, was executed in the Adiala Jail on January 9.
In Rawalpindi, a death row prisoner Zulfiqar Ali convicted for killing two policemen near the US Consulate General in Karachi, was hanged in Adiala Jail.
Hanging of the 7 convicts will send a strong message to the terrorists that we mean business. They must change their ways, and surrender to the authorities. Stop all kind of terrorism, or else face the consequences of their acts.Well done the the hangman.
This is great action for the defence of our country, and warning for terrorist which are still on their way of terrorism, that hanging is their end.
