I travel all across Pakistan and I try my best to connect to the world through the latest smartphones. Though I had a 3G enabled smartphone but after watching an advertisement of a mobile phone company that has recently launched its LTE service with much fanfare, I bought LTE SIM and replaced 3G handset with LTE enabled handset and went on to my trips. I was so excited but I soon learnt that the particular mobile phone company didn’t offer extensive 4G/LTE coverage. Another reality that is a real add-on to my miseries was that my smartphone goes on LTE when it moves through urban areas of Pakistan and slips drastically to 2G service as the company does not have 3G services while travelling between semi urban areas. I think it is better to go back to my old operator.
