Altaf condemns MQM worker’s killing

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain condemned the killing of party worker Raees Alam in strong words on Tuesday.

The MQM chief said the MQM workers were being killed mercilessly but the government of Sindh was not paying any attention to the matter.

Altaf lamented that despite the ongoing operation against terrorist elements in the city, outlawed organisations were targeting citizens at will.

The MQM chief condoled with the murdered worker’s family and prayed to Almighty Allah for the peaceful abode for the deceased worker.

Raees Alam was a worker of MQM Unit 131 Qasba Aligarh Sector. He was shot dead by unknown gunmen within the limits of Pirabad police station in Qasba Colony, Orangi Town.

His body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

The deceased MQM worker received two bullet wounds – one on his face while the other on his chest from – a 9mm pistol.
