Three death row convicts at Sukkur Central Jail while two at Faisalabad jail sentenced in the attack on former military dictator General (r) Pervez Musharraf will be hanged today (Tuesday).
The three terrorists at Central Jail 1 in Sukkur – Muhammad Shahid Haneef, Muhammad Talha, and Khalil Ahmed were involved in the murder of Ministry of Defence Director Zafar Hussain Shah in the vicinity of Gulbahar Jail in Karachi in 2001.
According to jail authorities, all three will be hanged at 6:30am today.
Moreover, two accused convicted of orchestrating the murder attempt on General (r) Musharraf – Nawazish Ali and Mushtaq Ahmed, will also be hanged at District Jail Faisalabad today.
