The election tribunal on Wednesday ordered the enquiry commission to submit the report of vote audit of the record of NA-122 by January 12.
The local commission told the election tribunal that rechecking and recount of the votes has been done but they need time to compile the report.
During the hearing, National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq’s lawyer alleged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan of pressurising the tribunal through a press conference that might affect the findings of local commission.
PTI’s chairman’s lawyer responded that Khan was talking nothing but facts, adding that the decision is to be made by the tribunal.
Tribunal’s judge said the decision would be made in the light of the report that is to be submitted by January 12.
