The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at $15.212 billion up to January 2, reported the central bank on Thursday.
During the week in review, the State Bank held $ 10.475 billion while the commercial banks $ 4.736 billion. During the week ending January 2, the SBP’s reserves increased by $171 million to $10.476 billion compared to $10.305 billion in the previous week.
