As soon as Imran Khan decided to call off his dhrana, Sheikh Rashid disappeared from the scene as if he never existed. As the only MNA of his party, fire-spewing Sheikh joined hands with Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri to grind his own axe. He accompanied Imran on his container as a main speaker much to the dislike of PTI honchos. Believably, former PTI President Javed Hashmi left the party because of Sheikh’s intrigues. People felt that Sheikh’s incitement to the mob to ‘kill, burn, and destroy’ looked as if he was in an enemy territory. Wily Sheikh Rashid is known for using fiery language which once earned him five years in jail. He had been accused of keeping an unauthorised Kalashnikov. While some thought the case had been fabricated against Sheikh, many thought he did possess a Kalashnikov which was fitted in his gullet. However, the insiders think Sheikh is a robot that is switched on and off by his handlers when needed.

I am sure that Prof. Sangdil is living up to his name. He has been too Sangdil in criticizing sheikh Rashid. He is barking at the wrong tree. Sheikh Rashid has not committed any crime by standing behind Imran Khan. Sheikh has taken a correct stand on the Rigging matter. He lent his support to Imran Khan unconditionally. It has been alleged that he iis exerting influence over I.K. He has not done anything wrong. He has taken a principled stand, and we appreciate him for that. He is very popular with the people.
I do not think the allegation of possession of Klashinkov was ever proven in a court of law. The governments register fake cases against politicians. Prof. should not take it seeiously. Sheikh Rashid is a bold and brave man. He says what he belives to ne true. I think he has served the country well. He should be applauded , instead of casting him in false light. I would say to the Prof. to get his facts corrected.
Sheikh Rashid is an experienced politician. He is an honest and decent man. He is not going to run away like PML )M_ leaders. He is a great patriot and supporter of our valiant armed forces.
He is a nationalist leader, and gas served the country well. He has taken a proncipled stand on the issue of Rigging in May 2013 general elections, and lent support to Imran Khan. He ha remained minister 8 times. I di not think he has an axe to grind. Perhaps the Iron Smith brothers do have Axes in their closet. We must not malign leaders like him.
