Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator Raza Rabbani burst into tears while addressing the Senate on the 21st constitutional amendment.

“In the last 12 years, I have never felt as embarrassed as I feel today. I voted against my conscience in favour of the formation of military courts,” said Rabbani, adding that he owed his vote to the masses. He left the House soon after addressing it.

Earlier, the 21st Amendment was passed with not a single vote against it.
