Dense fog on Wednesday morning engulfed Islamabad, Rawalpindi and the surrounding areas. The fog badly affected air traffic. The vehicular traffic on the road was also thin.
According to Met Office, the minimum temperature recorded in Islamabad on Wednesday morning was four degree centigrade. There was a fog with different categories of intensity at Motorway M-1, M-2 and M-3.
According to Motorway Police, dense foggy condition prevailed at GT Road from Lahore to Rahimyar Khan with zero visibility while at other points it was between 20 to 30 meters on Wednesday morning hours but the traffic was plying.
