Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday said that the revelation of “thousands of fake votes” during vote-recounting in NA-122 has validated PTI’s stance of rigging in 2013 General Elections and demanded that the entire elections be audited by constituting a judicial commission headed by a Supreme Court judge.
Talking to a news channel, Khan said that the government was worried over exposing of rigging in last general elections, adding that rigging was confirmed in the polling stations pointed out by PTI.
He said that during the scrutiny and recounting of votes in NA-122, “some 30,000 votes turned out to be fake while ballot papers of the provincial assembly seats were found stuffed in 30 polling bags”.
