As Muslims across the world celebrate the birth of the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) on 12 Rabiul Awwal, Eid Miladun Nabi is being celebrated with religious fervour and enthusiasm throughout Pakistan on Sunday.
Special conferences, events and Mehfil-e-Naat have been arranged in almost all parts of the country.
Heavy security arrangements have been made for the processions that will be taken out to pay homage to Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) on his birth celebrations.
The main event of the day – National Seerat Conference – is being held in Islamabad under the auspices of Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Seerat Conferences will also be organised at the provincial headquarters and other main cities and towns.
Mosques, buildings, streets and homes were illuminated with colourful lights and decorated with buntings to mark the day.
