On the special directive of Rawalpindi City Police Officer (CPO) Humayun Bashir Tarar, the police Saturday launched a special search operation in RA Bazar and its adjoining areas in the jurisdiction of RA Bazar Police Station.
The police contingents, police commandos, special branch personnel, Elite Force, Muhafiz Squad and Women Police conducted search operation in the area.
According to Rawalpindi Police spokesman, the police checked 220 people and searched over 122 houses. He said that special search operations to net the criminals would also be launched in other areas of the district.
