Pick, drop services of educational institutes to go under security check

Regional Transport Authority (RTA) Secretary Awais Manzoor Tarar has passed orders for carrying out the grand operation for security checking of pick and drop services of government and private educational institutes.

Four special squads have been made for executing the security plan, for which orders were passed in light of the Peshawar school tragedy.

Record of drivers and conductors of pick and drop services of all school, colleges and university will be checked and submitted in special branch. Moreover, vehicle-checking on daily basis will also be made compulsory by the transport department.

Moreover, fitness certificate will be given to every vehicle, in a bid to maintain security.
