At least five more children died of famine in Thar escalating the death toll to 261 in a span of 91 days on Wednesday.
Affected people of Thar have been suffering the scarcity of food, water and medicinal facilities in Chachro and Mithi for a long time while the government and administration remained deaf eared.
Locals said medical teams were not dispatched to the affected areas despite tall claims of the government and administration.
