A fire erupted on Tuesday at one of the units of Muzaffargarh Thar Mill Power Station resulting in suspension of 320 megawatts of electricity to the National Grid.
The fire broke out at Unit 4 of Muzaffargarh Thar Mill Power Station and disrupted power system to National Grid. Fire tenders and rescue workers rushed to the scene and extinguished the fire after a struggle of four hours.
According to sources, the suspended power supply will be restored soon.
