Former PPP MPA Haji Munwar Ali Abbasi on Tuesday said that non-availability of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s portrait on the stage during the seventh death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto held recently showed that party had deviated from its original philosophy and stance.
He was talking to media on Tuesday after expressing condolence over the death of sister of advocate Inayatullah Morio. He further said a party was trying to get more benefit from the Sindh government through forward block which was underway in the Sindh government and news of it was circulating around.
Munwar further said that only Bilawal Bhutto Zardari could save the party now. He said: If Bilawal does not attend the anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on April 4, the party would suffer the worst.” Abbasi further said that improvement may have been made in Karachi’s law and order situation but the dacoit culture in interior Sindh was still flourishing due to which people were undergoing severe difficulties.
He further said: “If military courts are used for eliminating terrorists, they will be fruitful but if they are used for political purposes it will be disastrous for the judicial system.”
