A man shot dead two people including his sister and injured another in the name of honour on Sunday.
The police said that the incident took place near the Garhi Yaseen area in Shikarpur where a woman had run away from her home and entered into a love marriage with another villager.
The accused chased the couple down and opened indiscriminate fire at them. It resulted in the death of his sister Shakeela and her paramour Anwar Brohi on the spot. A passerby, identified as Jamaluddin Brohi, was also injured in the firing.
The murderer fled the scene after killing the two victims.
The police have registered a case against the accused and started raids for his arrest.
