The Mohajir Rabita Council’s (MRC) Executive Committee said that the Mohajirs had since past many decades been demanding for their separate ‘Mohajir Province’ which was from all aspects a constitutional demand and it was a sure reflection of national solidarity and country’s integrity. However, the oppressive rulers in Sindh had always filled this just constitutional demand with the hue of ethnic bias and political grudge.
The MRC EC said that the forefathers of Mohajirs had offered 2 million lives for the creation of Pakistan while fought shoulder to shoulder with Pak Army in East Pakistan in order to save the then united Pakistan and again offered 7,00,000 lives for the defence of the country.
In that fight, Mohajir women were also very active and for that reason they were subjected to inhuman treatment and thousands were humiliated and gang raped.
The EC said Mohajirs were even today playing a vibrant role for integrity of the country and their support to Pak Army was candid clear. However, the rulers had always left no moment go for their humiliation and suppression in return.
The EC while addressing Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif said that he was a true and brave General and hence the MRC EC while representing the Mohajir as a separate nation would demand him to take measures for culminating the oppression against Mohajirs and ensure full provisioning and respect of their rights.
The COAS should also step forward for curbing the decaying oppressive rule of the corrupt conglomerate and support Mohajirs in their struggle for Mohajir Province.
The EC said the COAS should repulse the forces of tyranny that had impeded the creation of Mohajir Province, a constitutional demand, which would further the integrity of country.
