Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi chapter chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has said their party believes in positive changes through democratic and constitutional norms.
In a statement, he said the report of Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has proved the fact that the Jamaat-e-Islami was the most democratic party of the country.
He said the ummah did not refrain itself from jihad as justice could also be brought in the society through it (jihad). He said the JI strongly condemned the terrorist attacks across the country.
He further said that secular elements through their nefarious designs were trying to make the things complicated by mixing jihad with terrorism in order to defame the religion. He said jihad was a must for restoration of peace and eliminating terrorism and injustice from the society.
Hafiz Naeem vowed that the JI will continue its peaceful struggle for the implementation of Islamic laws in the country.
