Contractual police officials on Wednesday protested against the management for not giving them extension in their service contract.
A large number of contractual police officials participated in the sit-in outside the Lahore Press Club and raised slogans in favour of their demands.
It is pertinent to mention here that all contractual police officials are retired army officials who were recruited in police on contract basis in 2012. The contract of the officials above the age of 40 had been cancelled by the authorities concerned.
