Three persons were killed and another injured in separate violence incidents in the city on Tuesday.
Bakht Rehman, 35, son of Gul Rehman and Afghan Baba, 70, was shot dead over a personal dispute near Rangers Headquarters in Nursery. The bodies were shifted to JinnahPostgraduateMedicalCenter for medico-legal formalities.
In another incident, a man, Hafizullah, 35, son of Qibla Khan, was gunned down by unknown armed men in Naseerabad, Block 14. The body was shifted to AbbasiShaheedHospital for an autopsy. The motive behind the killing could not be ascertained yet.
Yet in another incident, a man, Latif, 30, son of Mohammad Younus, resident of Lyari, was shot and injured by unidentified armed men near Madni Masjid in Old Haji Camp. He was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment.
Three killed in road mishap
Three persons were killed in road mishaps in Karachi on Tuesday.
Brother and sister, Khalid, 25, and Rubina, 20, residents of Mawach Goth, were killed when a speeding vehicle hit them near Saeedabad police station in Baldia. The bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for an autopsy.
In another incident, an unknown lady, aged about 35 to 40, was killed in vehicle collision near Metropolitan Hotel in Saddar. The body was shifted to JinnahPostgraduateMedicalCenter for medico-legal formalities.
Two dead, 15 injured in road mishap
At least two persons died and 16 others injured in a road mishap on Indus Highway near on Tuesday.
A passenger coach and a van collided at village Thariri Hashim near Nasirabad. As a result, two persons died on the spot and 15 others were injured who were rushed to the Chandka Medical College Hospital Larkana.
The coach was going from Karachi to Peshawar and the van from Larkana to Sehwan.
