Security forces on Tuesday arrested five suspected militants from Killa Saifullah district of Balochistan, official sources said.
A security official said that forces conducted a raid in Nassai area of Killa Saifullah district. He said forces picked up five suspected militants during the raid.
“The militants belong to banned TTP (Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan),” he said, adding that the security forces were interrogating the militants at an undisclosed location.
The identity of militants was not disclosed.
The forces also recovered weapons and explosives from the militants’ possession, said the official, adding that the militants were also involved in kidnappings for ransom in the area.
The arrests have come a day after the same number of suspected militants were arrested in Kuchlak area of Quetta.
