Rawalpindi Additional Sessions Court has ordered Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan to furnish reply on the defamation suit filed by Hanif Abbasi, a PML-N leader against him.
Judge Abdul Sattar Langah took up for hearing the defamation suit Monday. He was informed that Khan had not filed a reply. The court directed Khan to furnish reply and adjourned the hearing till January 8.
Abbasi has filed a defamation suit in the sum of Rs 1 billion saying that Khan had called him a “drug peddler and manufacturer of spurious drugs”. His privilege has been breached due to Khan’s act, he added.
