PAT stages rallies across Punjab against Peshawar massacre

Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Sunday staged nationwide rallies against the cowardly attack on Army Public School and College in Peshawar that left 150 dead of which 133 were children.

The largest gathering was held in Lahore where hundreds of PAT workers participated to show solidarity with the families of the victims.

In Multan, dozens of PAT workers, including women, took out a rally from Ghanta Ghar Chowk to Nawan Shehr.

Participants of the rally condemned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and prayed for the victims of the attack.

A rally was also taken out in Jhang, where participants carrying placards and banners marched from Majid Amjal Park to Fawara Chowk. Women and children were among the participants.

Similar rallies were staged in many cities of Punjab.
