National Assembly (NA) Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Deputy Speaker Javed Murtaza Abbasi Sunday visited Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) and enquired about the health of the injured students of ArmyPublic School and College Peshawar attack.
Talking to media, the speaker termed the Peshawar attack the “worst tragedy of terrorism in the history of the country, which cannot be forgotten”, adding that the grief of the tragedy would never diminish in the hearts of Pakistanis.
The speaker also met the parents of the injured students and prayed for their speedy recovery.
He also prayed for patience for the parents of the martyred students to bear the loss with fortitude.
The speaker added that no religion of the world allowed the killing of innocent children, saying that not only the whole nation but the whole world is strongly condemning the act of terrorism.
Following the Peshawar attack, the NA speaker said, the nation has become united against the terrorism and is ready to battle the menace and eliminate it.
