The Hindu community of Lahore held a candlelight vigil on Saturday at Krishna Mandir for the victims of the cowardly attack on Army Public School and College in Peshawar that left 150 dead of which 133 were children. Special prayers were offered for the departed souls on this occasion.
“The Hindu community extends deepest sympathies to the parents and families of the victims of Peshawar attack. The tragic incident is a serious blow to the humanity. We stand united with the Pakistan Army to root out the menace of terrorism from our country,” said Hindu Sudhar Sabha president Amarnath Randhawa while strongly condemning the brutal killing. The members of the Hindu community including women and children also conducted special prayers for the speedy recovery of those injured in the attack.
Holding candles and placards, they observed two-minute silence to honour the departed souls. The members of the community also appreciated the ongoing Operation Zarb-e-Azb and prayed for its success.
The temple caretaker Manohar Chand said, “It was a cowardly act to target the schoolchildren. We are all united against extremism and want to work together to make Pakistan a peaceful country.”

Can you tell me why the school is using these images? I have attached a picture of the boy known as Noah Pozner and photo's concerning the use of his image.
Was this child actually a student at the school in Pakistan?
I have spoken to the Head of World Minority Alliance who created some of the posters and he said that they got them from facebook and the internet. Was it the schools facebook page? if so I would like to know please who gave them to the school? and if the school gave them to the World Minority Alliance to use.

How can 1 child die in to separate incidents on two different continents that are on opposite sides of the world? Add to that, this child “died” the first time two years ago. I don’t know who, but someone is playing games trying to inflame emotions here. Considering some of the people behind the scenes I could speculate, but I’m waiting for more information before I say anything that might be construed as an opinion. Right now, I just want an explanation from Pakistan Today and all the other “news” outlets carrying this boys picture without asking any questions themselves. Their cashe files should be much larger than mine and yet I can find this picture on my old files easily so I’d like an honest explanation and apology.
