Five terrorists, including key TTP commander, killed in Peshawar Frontier Region, airstrikes in Tirah eliminate 20 terrorists

Two terrorists killed in Charsadda, five in Darra Adam Khel, two in Mohmand and eight TTP terrorists killed in Karachi

As Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Army Chief General Raheel Sharif expressed their resolve to continue to target all terrorist organisations irrespective of their agenda and affiliation, security forces killed more than 40 terrorists in countrywide counter-terror operations on Saturday.

According to details, more than 40 terrorists, including a key commander of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Darra Adamkhel chapter were killed in fresh countrywide action against terrorists on Saturday.

At least five terrorists, including their commander Mustafa alias Manan, were killed in a clash between security forces and militants in Bazargari area in the Frontier Region of Peshawar. Mustafa is reportedly a brother of Umar Mansoor alias Umar Naray — the alleged mastermind of the Peshawar school massacre.

Two security personnel were also injured in the clash.

The bodies of the militants, which were later shown to media, also included Hidayatur Rehman alias Saleem, who was wanted for clashes with security forces in Frontier Regions and surrounding areas.

KHYBER AIRSTRIKES:

Later in the day, at least 20 terrorists were killed in jet fighter strikes in different parts of Khyber’s Tirah Valley, official sources said.

Seven other militants were also injured in the airstrikes while seven militant dens were also destroyed as jets pounded the area.

The latest airstrikes come as the army has escalated its offensive against local and foreign militants in the northwestern tribal region.

Also, at least two suspected terrorists and two policemen were killed in the Saro Kalley area of Charsadda district.

According to official sources, after receiving a tip-off about the presence of suspects, security personnel carried out an operation in the Badi Kor area of Saro Kalley.

During the operation, a gunbattle erupted in which two militants Sayar and Ameer Nawaz and two policemen – Elite Force Sub-Inspector Ishrat Yar and FC Constable Meera Jan were killed.

Heavy contingents of police and FC continued the search operation in the area.

As security forces continued offensives against terrorists, five terrorists were killed in Darra Adam Khel and two others were killed in Michni area of Mohmand Agency.

Two security personnel were martyred and four were injured in the clashes.

FIVE TTP SUSPECTS KILLED IN KARCAHI:

In the meanwhile, five suspected terrorists of TTP were killed in encounters in different parts of Karachi.

The Crime Investigation Department (CID) killed two Taliban terrorists in an encounter at Mauripur area of the city.

According to details, the law enforcement agencies took action after they received information about the presence of terrorists in the area.

Weapons and other goods were also recovered from the slain terrorists.

Moreover, according to Rangers, three TTP terrorists were gunned down in an encounter at Ghaghar Railway Crossing and weapons were recovered from them.

PM MEETS CHINESE DELEGATION:

Meanwhile, talking to a six-member Chinese delegation headed by International Department of the Committee of the Communist Party of China Vice Minister Chen Fengxiang, the premier said that Operation Zarb-e-Azb has produced very positive results and many terrorists have been killed or captured.

  2. pakdefenceforce, im sorry to say this but there is no proof that these were some israeli arab! the only thing everyone knows is that they were talibans.
    plus did u know that arab doesnt have an army of its own! and that israel is already in the process of tring to find ways to capture Palestine!
    p.s. talibans have confessed that it was them who attacked the school in order to avenge the deaths of there other murderers.
