Pakistan Muslim League – Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Sarwar was shot dead in Islamabad on Tuesday, police sources said.
The police sources told a private TV channel that Chaudhry Sarwar, a PML-Q leader and a businessman, was targeted by unidentified assailants within the remit of the Tarnol Police Station in the federal capital.
The police said the motive behind the killing was yet to be ascertained.
