KABUL-
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif and Director General of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt.Gen Rizwan Akhtar on Wednesday arrived in Kabul to meet the country’s top political and military leadership, private media reported.
He is likely to discuss Tuesday’s school attack in Peshawar with the Afghan PM and military chief.
Gen. Asim Saleem Bajwa, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), tweeted the following on the COAS’s Afghanistan visit.

A day earlier, Dawn newspaper quoted a source as saying that the militants were acting on direct orders from their handlers in Afghanistan and that prominent Taliban commander Umar Naray was the ultimate mastermind of the attack.
