Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) distribution companies increased the gas prices by Rs 5 per kilogramme (kg) on Monday.
LPG Distributors Association Chairman Irfan Khokhar said that increase in the gas prices was due to the increase in LPG tariff in international market. An increase of Rs 60 has been witnessed in domestic gas cylinder and Rs 240 in commercial gas cylinder.
With the recent increase, LPG prices in Karachi has reached to Rs 120/kg, Hyderabad, Sukkur to Rs 140/kg, Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Sialkot to Rs 140/kg, Kohat, Bannu, Peshawar Rs 145 /kg, Rawalpindi, Islamabad Rs 160, Murree, Nathiagali, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, FATA Rs 165/kg.
The LPG distributors companies, excusing the international market tariff, have increase Rs 25 in per kilogramme of LPG during last one week.
