United Business group Patron-inChief SM Munir has said his group will bring new traditions in Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and all decisions will be made with the consultation of Chambers to promote business activities in the country. He said that Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) is not only national but internationally recognized Chamber of the country and United Business group will give preference to RCCI suggestions after winning FPCCI elections.
He was exchanging these views with the leaders of Mian Parvez Aslam Group RCCI after a luncheon hosted by former president RCCI Sohail Altaf in a local hotel on Sunday. President RCCI Syed Asad Mashadi, former presidents Sheikh Shabbir, S.M Naseem, Chairman United Business Group Iftikhar Ali Malik, Nominate President FPCCI United Business Group Mian Muhammad Idrees and a large gathering of business community of twin cities were also present.
S M Munir said that FPCCI is a representative body of the business community of the country in which contribution of all chambers is included. FPCCI would be made more effective and the safeguard of interests of business community would be ensured. He also thanked Former President RCCI Sheikh Shabbir, Sohail Altaf, S. M. Naseem and President Rawalpindi Chamber Syed Asad Mashadi on their support for United Business group and vowed to create a best working relation in the future.
Speaking on the occasion, President Rawalpindi Chamber Syed Asad Mashadi said that Rawalpindi Chamber has tried to keep business community united. In this regards, Rawalpindi Chamber was the first to organize All Pakistan Chambers Presidents Conference and this initiative has continued successfully for the past 7 years. He also requested S. M. Munir and group to promote trust and stability of relationship among business community so that challenges faced could be dealt with in the appropriate manner.
Earlier, Former President RCCI and Vice President & Zonal Chairman FPCCI Sohail Altaf, while welcoming the guests, said that Rawalpindi Chamber along with Federation has always worked to strengthen the unity of business community and has supported individuals who are willing to collaborate with others for the betterment of the nation and the country. He assured United Business group of the support from Mian Pervez Aslam group and wish them best of luck in coming FPCCI Elections.
