Pakistan’s institutions have collapsed because they are not autonomous, said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday while speaking at the annual convocation of Namal University, Mianwali.
“There will be no political interference in Namal University, which is why it will be a success,” said the PTI chief.
The PTI chief serves as chairman of the board of governors of the Namal Education Foundation, which is the sponsoring body of the college.
Stressing the importance of making the university at par with the standards of Oxford University, the PTI chairman said, “To become a prime minister is not a big thing but if this university becomes Oxford University and the centrr of learning, then that is big.”
Addressing the gathering, khan explaining secrets for success said, “If you are doing something difficult, then you have to prepare for hardships and to overcome obstacles.”
“Whenever you aim for something then there is no turning back,” he added.
