Gujrat feudal lord breaks peasant’s arms, legs

A 45-year-old peasant was brutally attacked by feudal lord Muhammad Aslam, his sons and grandsons in Gujrat for not obeying their orders.

The incident occurred on Sunday when the peasant was beaten up with a blunt axe and iron rods for not agreeing to the feudal lord’s orders to reap crops and keep cattle out of the fields.

Half-dead and with arms and legs broken, the peasant was left lying in the fields when the residents of the area arrived and took him to Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Hospital. According to doctors, the peasant’s condition is continuously worsening.

The police reportedly declined to register a complaint against the influential feudal lord, after which the residents of the town gathered to hold a protest.
