While taking serious notice of the deaths of five innocent children at children hospital Larkana due to non-availability of oxygen, Provincial Minister for Health Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar directed the Larkana director health to complete inquiry within 24 hours and submit his report and warned of strict action against those involved in the negligence.
Besides, the provincial minister has also taken notice of the announcement of the boycott of polio campaign by LHWs and assured them that their issues would be resolved at the earliest and the amount of their salaries would be transferred into accounts on Monday. He added the funds for the salaries of the LHWs were released by the federal government after hectic efforts.
“There is no space for incompetent and corrupt officials in the health department,” he claimed.
